Selena Gomez’s silence goes with many things including her illness that she has been having for years.
Selena revealed the truth in Billboard why she has been having such a ‘ME’ time and why she has not been on tours as it should be since she lastly released her song called “Good For You”.
The 23-year-old Texas singer told Billboard Magazine that due to her tour canceling behaviors, she was undergoing treatment for the lupus illness.
Lupus is scientifically said to be an autoimmune chronic disease which can affect any part of the body such as skin, joints blood and many other areas.
According to the CNN, it seems the singer has been suffering from that disease for years and sweetly gave her little notice words which should reach to her fans.
“I was diagnosed with lupus, and I’ve been through chemotherapy. That’s what my break was really about. I could’ve had a stroke,” The ‘Good For You’ hitmaker told the magazine in a cover story which will be out Thursday.
Rumor has it that the singer did not make an appearance on her tour back in 2013 and this could be the reason. The singer has decided to be open about it since it is almost 1.4 million Americans suffering from that illness and it mostly attacks women between age of 15 to 44.
It is pretty obvious that the Gomez’s lupus has not affected her skin due to the fact that she has always looked stunningly beautiful as ever.
Lately, she has been promoting her new latest album called ‘Revival’ in various ways through media.
