December 19th, 2017 - 10:36 pm
What was more important than the Kobe Bryant Jersey Retirement Ceremony?. Kobe Bryant has officially retired from the Los Angeles Lakers. It’s so sad to see him go forever and never see him play for Lakers. He will surely be missed. It was held at the Staples Center on Monday, December 18 in Los Angeles.
The celebrations were lit and started immediately due to the halftime of the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. The Maroon 5 singer, Adam Levine was joined on stage by Ice Cube, Shaquille O’Neal, the world’s comedian Kelvin Hart and his wife Eniko Parrish, Jack Nicholson and the man of the hour, Kobe Bryant himself.
For us fans, Bryant has left us a legacy that seems so hard to find someone to fit in his shoes. Who do you have in mind anyway?. The answer might be a maybe.
Some of the last words he gave on his partying speech were:
“Those times when you get up early and you work hard. Those times you stay up late and you work hard,” Kobe expressed. “Those times when you don’t feel like working. You’re too tired. You don’t want to push yourself, but you do it anyway… That is actually the dream.”
It was a wonderful speech that Kobe seemed grateful and gave thanks to the organization that he has worked with for over 20 years, his teammates, his loving family, and fans.
